do i have to file forms to ask a judge for a judgement or can i just go into court with my evidence

The only court in WA in which a party can "just go into court with [the] evidence" is small claims court where the procedures are informal (and the letter of the law is sometimes ignored to achieve an equitable outcome).

All the other courts have formal procedures. Documents and other items generally must be made available to other parties well in advance of the hearing. Failure to observe the procedures may result in the court not allowing or considering the information.
