Legal Question in Immigration Law in Washington

Hi,

I am in US and got selected for 2 seperate companies. I have not decided yet which one will I join, here is my question because both companies will be initiating my h1 b transfer almost at the same time.

1. If company A files before company B, will the later company h1 case will be put on hold until first one is approved or rejected or both will proceed simultaneously ?

2. If company A case got approved first and company b after it, will company A h1 become invalid because the second visa is filed after it.

3. If both company case got approved and I can join only one company, will there be any problem for me in doing so ?

4. Is there any other complication that I should be aware of because of filing 2 Concurrent h1b transfers.

Regards,

Raj

You can have concurrent I-129 petitions filed for you by different employers. The approval of both petitions will not affect each other. You can work for either employer without a problem. If one of the petitions shows "part time" employment, you could theoretically work for both employers, too.
