Legal Question in Employment Law in Washington

I found out that my former employer made a mistake on all my paychecks, instead of him adding our credit card tips he deducted them. I have tried to contact him about it and I can't get an answer back. He also put on my w-2 that he payed them to us. So not only did he not pay us our tips he deducted them from our paycheck and wants us to pay taxes on it.

That sounds like your former employer's is willfully refusing to pay your agreed compensation and that can result in you being able to recover the value of your credit card tips, a penalty of 100% (of the total withheld tip amount) charged to the employer and your attorney fees if an attorney is required to collect the tips and the penalty.
