Legal Question in Employment Law in Washington

Is it legal for my former employer to keep my final paycheck until I sign a document saying that I will not sue him. I live in Washington state.

I gave my two-week notice in the middle of setpember and still have not received my final paycheck.

Typically an employer cannot withhold pay for work performed. You should contact an employment lawyer. We have one here if you need further assistance.
