Legal Question in Employment Law in Washington

sexual harassment and non compete clause

I was forced from my job because of hostile working conditions caused by sexual harrasment. Is this grounds to have a non compete clause in my employee contract voided? I am considering opening a business in competition with my former employer. Thanks

sexual harassment and non compete clause

This may well a breach of contract on their part that would excuse you from performance of the non-compete clause.

The issue is interesting but would require some legal research to provide a legal opinion. If you know how to do legal research, the above case would be a good place to start.
