Legal Question in Employment Law in Washington

i was terminated from my bank job for something called "forced balancing" which is essentially where I would manipulate my number at the end of the day to get away with stealing cash. That was never the case and no money was ever stolen. How can I be accused of something like that when it never happened? Now because of the term code on my employment record, it is essentially impossible to obtain another job in the banking profession.
