Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington

ATV accident on private property

Last summer I was in an ATV accident on my bosses property. He was out of town, and asked me to work there while he was away, clearing brush off his trails. We are close, he's my daughters great-grandfather as well as my boss. He invited me to use his ATV and home after I was done with the work he wanted done. His ATV had been repaired many times, and pulled. I hit a tree, which exploded my finger into 5 pieces and sheared my tendons off the bone. My boss asked me not to file against his insurance because his wife had told him not to have anymore work done to clear trails. He said he would pay the resulting expenses out of pocket, but hasn't due to his continued attempts to keep his wife from knowing. She owns the company where I was employed. Now, due to my repeated medical leaves my job has been phased out. What are my options? I have thousands of dollars in medical bills, and lost wages have caused my other bills to fall severly behind. I still need more surgery but am now unemployed, uninsured and in substantial debt. What should I do? Is there anything I can do?
