Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington

I was involved in a MINOR fender bender last year. I and the women I tapped from behind pulled over. There was no damage to either vehicle. We both agreed there was no reason to exchange insurance info and went our separate ways. Now she is claiming injury and trying to get money out my insurance company. I believe she is trying to scam me. What can i do?

Unfortunately, this is why lawyers tell people, no matter how small the accident, you should get a cop out there to take a report and make notes of everyone's condition, so that in the event one party does what you say this woman has now done, becomes impossible or difficult for her to press on with.

On the other hand, she also has no proof that you even hit her, much less proof that she suffered her claimed injuries in the accident with you. That said, you ought to hire local counsel to review her claims and properly assess your liabilities, if any.
