Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington

What is the time allowed by law to reopen a claim for an auto accident with my i

Initial auto accident 7/8/01. Went to get x-rays at the hospital, nothing broken and went for follow up treatment. The doctor suggested pain pills for the pain. Have had ongoing health problems (pain) and went to the chiropractor recently, who believes the problems are related to the accident and has indicated treatment will resolve the pain issues. When contact was made with my insurance (Allstate) they said the claim could only be re-opened with-in a year's time.

You should contact an attorney immediately. He could look at your contract with AllState. You didn't say whether you were at fault in the accident. If you are not, you will probably need to sue the other driver, but you have only three years from the date of the accident to do so.
