Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington

Vandalism to Recreational Property

Former defendant/neighbor repeatily vandalizes our remote vacation property. Sheriff can only help if neighbor is caught in act. Neighbor, recently shot bullets into our barn and barn roof. Damages maybe $4,000 +/-. An expert can prove bullets were fired from neighbors adj. property. We know if a fraction of the "unsolved" vandalism can be discussed in court a jury will be incensed, especially given this neighbors history. We will file suit soon, first, we obtain a well-worded injunction, second we sue for actual damage, third we sue for intention infliction of emotional distress (we have not seen a shrink, but sincerely fear for our lives given the gunplay and threats of neighbor). Understand no punitive damages in Washington State. Want thoughts on how to approach adding additional damages or causes of action. This has been going on for years, these are neighbors from Hell who relish in operating outside the law. Need additional legal recourses.

Unclear what you are seeking.

I would suggest you invest in a few hidden cams to see if you could catch them on film. Of course, you would have to set them up surreptitiously.
