Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Washington

quit claim deed

my spouse and I are ''gifting'' our recreational property with a stationary trailer on it to my girlfriend. we have a ''gift'' letter and a quit claim deed form.(we hold title insurance papers on this property, and also have joint right of survivorship papers - there are no liens, mortgages) what others forms do we need? where do we get them? and where does all this paperwork go?

Re: quit claim deed

The other form that you need is the real estate excise tax forms which you can pick up at the county recorder's office. you'll then need to file the excise tax form with the appropriate fee, and record the other documents with the county recorder (there are certain fees that apply).
