Legal Question in Traffic Law in Washington

my son has two traffic tickets and he is in prison and we have tried pay them but he must appear . The problem with that is he is scheduled for early release from successfully completing the ARDAP program but they will not release him if he has unpaid tickets so there lies my problem ,do you know the solution?

Sounds like they have to be warrants on criminal cases. Easy answer is hire a lawyer, they will know how to fix it. Otherwise, he will probably have to file a detainer request (most prisons have a form he can use) and mail it to any court that has a hold on him. It is basically a request to be transported to that court to address the warrant, or in the alternative to have the case closed without his appearance. It works, if the request is done right.
