Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Washington

My husband's Father lives in Washington State, as does my husband and his brother. One sister lives in Idaho, and the other sister lives in Alaska and she is Executor of the Father's estate. Will there be a problem for her fulfilling the role of Executor because she lives out-of-state?
