Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Washington

I have a will filled out by my mother with one witness back in 2004. She passed this week. What do I have to do to file it?

To proceed in the most efficient and expeditious manner, the will should be filed at the same court and at the same time as the Petition for Appointment of her personal representative who is named in the will. This needs to be done promptly. Depending on several other considerations, that may be all that is needed to start the probate process which is how her wishes as stated in her will are implemented by the probate court.
