Minor choosing to live with either parent

Does this vary with state law. The divorce was in WV, where her father still lives. We live in FL.

Family Laws vary from State to State, but Court's generally do not want minors to make such a decision, or be forced to express an opinion.

Generally, lawsuits regarding custody of the children have to be in the state where the child has lived for the past six months, and the law of the state where the lawsuit occurs applies as to whether the child can decide where to live.
