Legal Question in Insurance Law in West Virginia

no auto insurance

i was involved in an auto accident in west virginia. there were two vehicle involved, my hnonda prelude and a tracto trailor (semi-truck) my insurance had expired about a month before. i have a court date an 28jan2008.. just wondering tyhe worst that could happen.. any help would be great..

You should consult a lawyer in the county where the hearing is scheduled. You should first exhaust all possibilities your were not covered by your own or some other person's policy. Your lawyer will tell you what the possible adverse consequences may be if you are found to be at fault, including loss of license and a claim for damages. If you were not at fault, then you still have your claim for damages even if not insured. There is not enough information to give any kind of reply that you can read with confidence. In fact, it would be difficult for you to give enough details in this kind of forum to allow a response that is informative to you and the public.
