Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in West Virginia

No will left

My father died in 1972 and did not have a will. His survivors included his wife and his seven (7)children. Of course the children are grown now and there is a controversy over who actually has control of the personal property. Does my mother have total control over the property (I hope this is the case) or do the siblings? If the siblings want to sign over their right to the property to our mother do all of the siblings have to agree? Thanks.

Re: No will left

Since your father died intestate (without a will) then 100% of his estate passes to your mother.
