Legal Question in Disability Law in Wisconsin

discrimination

My mother in law worked for a company for many years. My mother in law had a kidney disease which put her in the hospital occasionally so she missed some work. I worked there part time and while I worked there my husband passed away from the kidney disease, which we did not know he had. Well my daughter went to this place and filled out an application and when she called to see if she could get an interview they said that they were all filled up. That has been over two weeks and they still have the now hiring sign up. I forgot to mention that my daughter has been diagnosed with the kidney disease and I think that they will not even give her a chance because they dont want to deal with it. My daughter is fine and in good health

Re: discrimination

Your daughter might have a "perceived" disability claim. I would have your daughter talk to the Equal Rights Division (ERD) of the Dept. of Workforce Development and, possibly, file a disability discrimination complaint for ERD to investigate.
