Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Wisconsin

I was taken to small claims court and they collector didn't show. They were asked to show proof because I denied the claim. This was in 2008 and they still haven't done what the judge told her to. The case has since been closed because of this but the collections attorney won't stop calling. What do I do to make them stop calling....I've told them to stop several times and they won't leave me alone. Can you please let me know what I can do?..?..?..

Unless you file bankruptcy, you will need to retain a lawyer to work out a final disposition. A case dismissed without prejudice can return. However, if you have other financial issues, a chapter 7 filing would have the benefit of resolving all of them rather than only one of your pending collections, which will give you far more "bang for your buck" over hiring a lawyer for any single case.

Do not assume that I am your attorney because of my response here. Call my office in Racine (262-633-3090 or email [email protected]) for clarifications, but short of such additional arrangements, I will not be taking any action on your case.
