Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

Wrongly Accused Paternity

I was served with papers to show up to a paternity test over 300 miles away. I have never met the woman and it seems that she's looking for someone with the same name as me. The county clerk said that I have no choice but show up (can't get testing closer). This will cost a great deal in travel and time off. Is there anything easier & quicker I can do? Once I prove that I'm not the father - the woman will know immediately if she sees me - do I have legal recourse to recoup my expenses? Can I sue anyone over this?

Re: Wrongly Accused Paternity

With my assistance, we should be able to arrange a blood test locally so you do not have to travel 300 miles away. More importantly, if the blood test confirms you are not the father, then the case will be dismissed and you will never need to travel. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further. We offer a free initial consulation.
