Legal Question in Employment Law in Wyoming

Deprivation of due process in a 3-day suspension from work

My employer suspended me for 3 days without pay without ever, one, specifying what rules, regulations, or law I broke and, two, never gave me an opportunity to explain myself before the suspension. The only time I knew exactly what I supposedly did was the day I was suspended, incorporated in the letter of suspension..

You have not given me enough information to answer your question. Do you work for a governmental entity? Do you have an employment contract? Does your firm have an employment policy manual? Are you an "at will" employee? Until I have that information, I cannot give you any advice.

In any event, it is always good to meet with an attorney in person to discuss these types of matters. I suggest you contact a reputable attorneyto discuss your rights.
