Legal Question in Administrative Law in India
I want to change my surname ( Solankey ) to Solanki in my all official document, which is wrongly entered in my 10th & 12th marksheet and its getting continue in all document like passport & Driving License.
If I want to change my surname from Solankey to Solanki for that also I have to give advertisement.
In my wife’s passport consulate officer also was not agree to change spelling (Solanki) & they write as it is on my wife passport (Solankey).
I am worry if same wrong spelling will continue in my kid’s name. What is the solution for that?
Since we are using English language that’s why it is required to change in spelling otherwise, In Hindi it is the same.
Please guide me.

1) U hv to maintain the same spelling and get corrected based on early records.
2) Or follow the prescribed procedure like gazette publication etc or obtain court direction.
