Legal Question in Administrative Law in India

The employee while in employment got recorded the date of birth of his son in his service records on the basis of birth certificate issued by the Registrar under Birth and Death Act the employee dies upon death of the employee the said son for compassionate appointment submits his matriculation certificate. The maticulation Certificate contains date of birth not similar to date of birth what was got recorded by the employee on the basis of birth certificate issued under the Birth and Death Act. As a matter of fact the date of birth appearing in the matriculation certificate suggest that the said son was born later to date of birth appearing in the certificate issued under the birth and death Act. How to deal with such cases.
