Are damages and remedies the same thing or there is some kind of difference?
please, illustrate. From a Desperate law student

when your right is violated there is remedy for you as is often said there is no wrong without remedy.damages is one of the remedy . there are may be number of other remedies such as specific performance in case of contract.
