Legal Question in Business Law in India

Dear sir,
I am a serving member of Indian Military since 2001 and presently posted at BANAGALORE. After demise of my father in 2006, one person has filed suit against me in 2006 for recovery of 45000/- + interest in lower court of Dist court, Sirsa (Haryana) and told that your father has taken from me for agricultural needs, but i was not aware about the same. The case was being handled by a lawyer on my behalf in the court. So on 05 Aug 2013, . As the case was almost in my favour, but the court has given the decision against due to non-availability of either myself or my lawyer on date and imposed 45000/ + 9% interest thereon from 01 Apr 2006 to till the decision of case. The decision is taken by the court on the basis of thumb impression which I am not sure that belongs to my father or not. Neither any guarantee nor any agreement was exists there between them.
Sir, kindly guide me on this issue because i have never taken the money nor i was aware for the same or what should I have to do.
Sir, can i make an appeal in session court against this decision. What are the requirements i have to fulfill for appeal in upper court? Kindly suggest me.
