Legal Question in Business Law in India

Flat seller (It is a resale flat) and my self done agreement on last month. He urged money so I didn't even check EC and given money. But I checked the EC last week in that it states that he has already given power for the same property to some one. So I have asked my money back and he has given the cheque for my money. But that cheque also invalid one. It got returned from Bank. What steps I need to take. Please help me. My phone number is : 9840115805.

Dear Sir / Madam,

You should lodge a Police complaint for cheating, and file a Court case for cheque dishonour under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
