Legal Question in Business Law in Pakistan

I have done a mistake that ultimately effecting the life of my dear ones, actually I had invested a huge amount with my friend and as I was having salaried Bank Account so was using my Wife bank account for receiving and further distributing / transferring profit etc, but unfortunately my all investment collapsed and I had to resigned from my job as well. at that time my wife's bank Accounts cheques were in market and they got bounced. My wife had no idea about my investments but I used her account without knowing the after effects. Now the situation is that the people are having those cheques they are blackmailing me that they will launch FIR against my wife as they have nothing else against me.

I need your legal point of view regarding this issue. How can I get rid of her from my mistake? what should I do to save her?
