Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
My father had expired last year, i informed My Co-op Housing society to remove my fathers name and add my mothers name in the share certificate, But the Society is asking for my Flats Agreement copy and also a letter stating to change the name and NOC in Bond paper. So is it a correct procedure should i have give them this all? please help

Dear Sir / Madam,
You should check whether your father has filed a nomination with the Society for the flat to be transferred in the name of your mother after his demise. If yes, your mother will have to furnish an Indemnity Bond along with other forms to the Society, for completion of the transfer of the title of the flat in her name in the record of the Society.
