Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Filing of defamation suit and monetary compensation:

During 2007 I have worked at Research Extension Centre at Kolar, Karnataka. Based on anonymous letter against me the controlling officer Director, CSRTI, Mysore conducted preliminary enquiry. Due to personal vengeance, he himself went and collected particular transaction bill (with acknowledgement) from Cocoon market and produced newly printed bill (with self committed mistakes) and the same was exposed by Inquiry Officer during regular inquiry. But department has not taken against the concerned Director. Now, I want to file a defamation suit against Director (now retired), CSRTI, Mysore (for criminal conspiracy) and the Disciplinary Authority (now transferred), CSB, Bangalore (for overlooking the tampered document and filled charge sheet) for compensation against mental agony, monitory loss and affect in career prospects.

My official and residential place is Hosur, Tamilnadu.

As an Advocate with 34 years standing, I venture to say that defamation litigation may be very tiring, costly and time consuming, with uncertain results. It may turn out to be self-prosecuting.

If possible, you may try to forget and forgive for your own happiness and mental peace.

If you are determined, you may like to engage a local counsel to pursue your remedy. The case can be filed at the place of your work / residence.

Dear Dr. S Rajadurai,

If you are doing advanced research in cocoon and silk processing, you should desist worry as the Inquiry Officer, CSB Bengaluru's "whistle blower" official report to the CSRTI Board. Mysore, will provide detail of the actual facts of the matter naming the accused in his / her Audit Report. You should patiently wait for the "Action taken Report" on audit findings, from the Board and politely request the Audit Committee that a copy of the "Action taken Report" be marked to you.

Regards,
