Good Afternoon
My father died without leaving any will, and we are 3 sisters and 1 brother. He has a residential property in his name. May i please know if that property will be transferred in my mother's name who is still alive or i can claim my share directly without the property being transferred to my mother. Basically i want to know if i will be able to claim my share after the property is transferred in the name of my mother.

Dear Madam / Sir,
On the demise of your father intestate (without a Will) the title of the property vests in your mother. Though you remain entitled to a share as a family member, your mother will decide on how the property will be dealt with to all her daughters and son.
