plz guide what is the legal value of a barer cheaque marked self presented for clearing through any bank after cutting the word self and writting his name the cheaque is bounced due to stop payment request

dear no proceeding can start against any person on such as self written cheque and if any one over writing on that cheque you can sue against that person under criminal and civil procedure also. for more detail you may call 0306 7861164
