Since you're lebanese and the marriage took place in Cyprus, then the lebanese civil Courts will have jurisdiction to rule on it.

Three issues have to be solved:

A. The divorce itself

B. The custody of the kids

C. The common properties

If you are able to reach an amicable agreement on the above points, the court will simply ratify it after checking that there is nothing gainst the piblic order.

Should you not reach an agreement the Court will:

A. Apply the Cyprian law in force to rule on the divorce, and, depending on the cases, allovate damages to one of the parties

B. Apply the Cyprian law regarding:

- the custody of the kids

- their guardianship

- their tution.

The basic rule here is the best interest of the kids

C. As for the proper goods they will be submitted to the laws of their location. The one located in Lebanon will be submitted to the lebanese lawd, the one in France to French laws, etc

We hope that the above is satisfactory for you.
