Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pakistan

I'm from Pakistan and I'm 17 years old. A week ago, I got to know that my so called parents weren't my biological parents. When i asked them about the adoption papers, they told me that they don't have any. The thing is, my parents do not have any adoption papers. They wouldn't even tell me about my birth parents. They keep making excuses like that my biological parents are dead, or somebody left me on their doorstep or something like that but i don't know why i get a feeling that they're hiding something. I've asked them thousand times but they won't tell me. I'm about to turn 18 soon and i will have a surname. My father won't give me surname. My so called father is confused about giving it to me. What do i do now? Can i be without a surname? Can i change my surname once i'm over the age of 18? Do i have legal rights? Can i stop my dad for giving me a surname?

You can have any name of your choice.. All my sympathies are with you and i can presume how tough times you might be facing.. However, my advice is that you remain calm and soft for now.. Just give love to those who have done your broughtup.. Give them confidence that you love them and you won't leave them ever.. Even if you find your original parents, they are more important to you.. Once they trust you, they will help you in searching the right parents.. For more [email protected]
