Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

HELLO SIR,

I'm from Rajkot, Gujarat, I knew that my uncle & cousins are going to a property which is in baroda. The document of property or dastavej is of my grandfather's name.

My father' have six brothers and only one brother alive, now my uncle and cousins are going to sell this property without inform us or contact us.

We all together cousins are 15, the property's value is approximately 5 to 7 crore.

My question is, can I get share from this property? how much share? can I get stay against selling this property?

Waiting for your proper guidance.

THANKS

YOURS

DILIP

Dear Dilip,

If your grandfather has left behind his Will, then the beneficiary named in his Will is entitled to get the title of the property transferred in his name to be eligible to sell it. Yes, you certainly can bring a stay from the Court on your uncle's intention to sell it.
