Dear Sir / Madam,

For Hindus & Jains, the family tree record is maintained at the Gram Panchayat / Tahsildar's office. For Christians, the concerned Parish attached to the Church also maintains a parallel record of the family tree. Likewise, I think for Sikhs, the Arjandas at the concerned Gurudwara also maintains a parallel record of the family tree. For Muslims, the concerned Mosque also maintains a parallel record of the family tree. For Parsis, the Avesta at the concerned Agiary also maintains a parallel record of the family tree. For Jews, the Monastery at the concerned Synagogue also maintains a parallel record of the family tree.

Regards,
