Legal Question in Technology Law in India

I am a programmer (website developer). I work for many institutions as freelancer also the same way i worked for a web development company as a freelancer. They asked me to develop two matrimonial websites cost 10,000 and 13,000 rupees respectively.

As usually I've completed the project and hand it over to them. After a few week they paid me for one project (13,000) and said that the second project was dropped because of miscommunication from client side and they assured that there will be another client need matrimony website so we'll sell it and pay you, they said.

Some days passed away and they said no clients have asked for matrimony website yet. One day i got a phone call from a client about some issues in matrimonial website he needs a developer to fix sum bugs as the company which developed the website didn't responded to support him. As i was a freelancer someone known about me may have suggested him about me.

He gave his website address to look upon it and I was shocked to see that my project which is announce as dropped by the company is well hosted and running well without my knowledge. They sold my project without my authorization. They didn't pay me for that project. Then i made phone calls to that company i worked for and asked about it there is no proper response from them.

When i done the project for them I have gave the project in pen drive and later they asked me to attach it through mail also. I only have the proof of sending the project through my email to their email.

I have no other proof. They paid me with cash there is no involvement on any receipts or bank deposits because I've done some projects for them previously and they paid correctly but after that they cheated me buy selling my project without my knowledge.

Is there any way that i can file a case against them. If i can then in which category this case will be file. How much compensation can i get from them for a 13,000 Rupees Project?
