Legal Question in Consumer Law in India

hello,

this is with regard to issue of my passport. i applied for passport on April this year and still have not received yet. i wrote a letter to ahmedabad passport office with tracking number.they failed to reply if they need any documents or request to speed up. went to the passport office but no one could guide me the exact thing i need to do. i also sought direct assistance if they need anything from my end so that i can have passport. i sent email to the passport office, Mr. salman khursid, the guy responsible for the overall operations and customer services, the Prime Minister to sought assistance. they did not have courtesy to at least answer my email or at least direct me to the correct department or person despite telling that i am very stressed out and explaining urgency of matter. i have filed RTI to the passport office very recently and waiting for the answer

what I want: 1) since i have provided all the documents they needed to issue me a passport, they have failed to issue me passport or issue me a notice if i have any offences pending! I want to lauch lawsuit against them for inefficiency and ignoring my contact to get my passport or any advise.

2) our public servants, ministers failed to answer me. they are supposed to help their customers/citizens. i will opportunity to go abroad if they do not provide me pssssport soon. i want compensation for the mental pain and harrasment i have gone through. i smoke more than 20 cigrattes as i am stressed out causing physicl and mental damage.

You should take your acknowledgement slip and go and meet the Regional Passport Officer to ascertain the status of your Passport application.
