Sir, Does sec 138 apply for credit card default, i have not issued any cheque for credit card. In any way can banks put credit card defaulter in jail

Dear Sir / Madam,

A cheque and a credit card is used as a payment mode for purchase of goods or services. Defaulting on payment of credit card dues is similar to dishonouring a cheque and is liable for criminal proceedings. Immediate settlement of credit card dues is recommended.
