Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Hello Team,

I need an help from you by solving my issue.

I helped a very good friend in December 2012 by allowing her to use my credit card which she used to buy 2 Samsung mobile phones out of which one was gifted to her boyfriend.

She gave excuses till today, gave a cheque and later requested not deposit as the account was nill. Now warns me to file a harassment case on me if I ask her to pay the bill again.

I come from a middle class family and already paying huge bills monthly. Some people adviced me to file a police complaint and some say police will charge me to get money out of her or might make this issue big for some reason.

I scared about this and also I can't make a payment of Rs. 50,000/- to the bank.

Please advice.

Your options are : either recover the amount from her or pay to the Bank.
