I have taken community / caste certificate signed by deputy tahsildar mahe pondicherry kerala state during my school days. i want to get my caste certificate for my children from mahe, pondicherry kerala state as my children are born at bangalore karnataka state. i am unable to know what is the correct procedure to get a community / caste certificate for my children from mahe, pondicherry, kerala as they are studying in chennai, tamilnadu for their 11 / 12 std. i need to submit the caste certificate as they are required to get admission to admission to professional govt colleges in tamilnadu.. kindly advise me on how to get my caste certificate for my children to submit the same to tamilnadu schools.

It is the general procedure to create caste/community certificate that you have to apply for the same at the concerned office of the land where you and your family are permanently residing.
