Legal Question in Family Law in Saudi Arabia

Dear Lawguru. I am currently living in Saudi Arabia, married with 2 month baby boy. My in laws also live in the same city and they have taken my wife and baby with them after a scuffle with me. I visit their house to see my baby almost everyday. My Nikaah was conducted in Pakistan and I wanted to know in case of divorce will Pakistan law apply or Saudi Law. In either case how can I claim custody of my child.Thank you.

if you divorce her you will lose the custody of your baby boy till he reaches the age of seven and after that you can claim custody but you may not succeed if the boy chooses his mother. This according to muslim law whether in Pakistan or in Saudi arabia but you are entitled to see your child any time you choose. However as far as she is refusing to come back to your house she is not entitled to any alimony or payment unless you divorce her,so DO NOT DIVOR HER. WAIT AND SEE
