Legal Question in Family Law in India

Dear Sir,

One of my close friend (husband and wife are hindus) are planning to

adopt a baby vide HAMA. Appreciate if you can let us know the

procedures and documentations involved. They will be adopting baby

from biological parents (hindus also). Can you please tell us more

about the legality involved. We want to have a safe adoption done

legally.

Please also let us know how long does it take to get this process done

and also to get birth certificate with adoptive parents name in it.

You may seek help of a lawyer to adopt the baby through government agency CARA.
