Legal Question in Family Law in India

My divorce case is going on for more than 7 years. Me and my husband have been living separately ever since. Got a kid who stays with me. All of a sudden one evening my mother-in-law shows up at my house with a stranger lady whom I have never met before. The stranger lady stepped into my house and was checking out. I was taken aback by her audacity and was in shock. This incident has put me and my son's life under threat. I don't want to file a police complaint because they can't do much here since the case is going on. Moreover, I will have to run around while I have to look after my child and got to keep a job as a single parent. The court is asking to file a domestic violence case against mother in law if I want to get a restraining order against mother-in-law but then that would mean I have to fight 2 cases simultaneously. The court says it can't pass any order against mother-in-law because it's a divorce case. Isn't there any law to protect me and my son!? We don't know what their intentions were!!! Why she turned up like so after so many years! Last time she showed me in the court, she had teamed up with her son that is my husband to click pics with my kid with my knowledge and submi6to the court to show they're in good terms. Further, now this stranger lady also knows my residential address. My kid is still scared post that event. Please suggest.
