Legal Question in Family Law in India

My friend is facing issue with his wife. She kept care on him without much big issues.she was manipulated by her father who is drunk and had many cases on him. They had a 2 years baby boy. She used to be rude with his son also and now filed all false cases on husband and in laws. But he wants to convince her and continue his life. But she is completely manipulated by his drunken father and she has s ok me physically problems too and taking all those as advantages including gruha himsa act also

Can someone suggest what is the way to proceed
