Hello,
I got married in 2009 and i was got tortured by my husband and inlaws after very next day with their actions and words , abusing my parents. But after the girl baby birth in 2011 at my parents place my husband and inlaws are completely avoiding me and my child, since then i am staying with my parents.
He is now coming with mutual divorce idea. My queries at this time are
1. As i previously mentioned regarding physical and mental tortures by my husband and inlaws, can i file a any case now against them since we are living separately for last 4 yrs.
2. We had gifted some amount and gold and othr things. How to get them back.
3. What i can do for my child safety and her future.
Please guide me with your expertise.

1. You lodge a complaint with local police about cruelty committed against and your istridhan retained by your in-laws;
2. you may also file a complaint under the Domestic Violence Act claiming compensation and damages for the "violence" being suffered by you;
3. You may claim a share in your husband's property for yourself and your child's maintenance.
You should take appropriate steps without any delay.
