Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am Hindu (Indian) and married a native Goa Christian in 2008. We got this marriage registered in civil registrar office in Vasco de gama. I don't know what marriage act does this under. (Special marriage act or Goa marriage act or any other). Now we have part our ways and dissolving the marriage. Its mutual. We both work n reside in a same city in Maharashtra. Can we complete the processing in this city or we need to dissolve it in Goa itself.
