my partner was married and divorced in italy but has no proof of divorce , we now want to my marry . he has been seperated for past 15 years

If your husband has divorced, there will be a sentence.

You may ask a copy of the divorce sentence at competent Tribunale.

The sentence, also will be annoted at margin of the act of marriage, registred at the Ufficio Anagrafe of the Comune wkere you husband's marriage was celebrated.
