Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

My question is related to child maintenance for a girl. Suppose maintenance is fixed at Rs.5000/month for a new born baby (Mother was divorced and baby is with her), when the Father's income is 20,000 or he is jobless or a simple laborer.

Now if we consider that the increase is 10% annually. This amount becomes Rs.13,000 approx after 10 years and 33,000 after 20 years approx. And 54,000 after 25 years. But a person's income does not increase at this rate. Suppose his income is 80,000 after 25 years (which might still be very difficult for a normal labor type person) and he has another wife and 2-3 children additionally, he will still have to pay 54,000 to the first girl child??

This seems totally unfair. If the girl does not get married even after 25 years, the amount will keep on increasing to uncontrollable levels. May be a few lacs in the next few years. Is this true?? Or there is a way to stop the increase or decrease the maintenance at some point??

Someone please explain to me. Thanks

Yes you can challenge this order. Basically increment on the basis of inflation rate. You can show the facts to the court and then court will order as per facts.

this is tentative maintenance, after perusal of documents and factual condition order varies. secondly the maintenance is upto 21 years for boy and for girl till she gets married, still order may vary according to the situation.
