Dear Saba:

1. What is written and that statement and in what background will be important question while analyzing veracity of that statement. Certain self statements are binding contracts while others are not. Also through related circumstances, it will be adduced whether that statement should be binding or not. I suggest, you provide at least summary of that statement, so that an appropriate opinion could be given.

2. You may pressurize your husband by filing Suit for Maintenance & Recovery of Dower to fulfill his marital duties. However, if you dont want your marriage to continue, you may file Suit for Dissolution of Marriage on basis of Khula, he will have no option and the court will decree separation.

Thank you,
