Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
Type your question here...My neighbour called Police during our construction of house due to opening of window.And police has wrote my father as well as my name and now a notice under 107 has came to appear in court. I study icwai in different town now ihad to leave for my studies so is it compulsory to appear in court. Please help is there any way.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Section 107 in The Indian Penal Code, 1860 reads as :
107. Abetment of a thing.-- A person abets the doing of a thing, who- First.- Instigates any person to do that thing; or Secondly.- Engages with one or more other person or persons in any conspiracy for the doing of that thing, if an act or illegal omission takes place in pursuance of that conspiracy, and in order to the doing of that thing; or Thirdly.- Intentionally aids, by any act or illegal omission, the doing of that thing.
Either your father or you, or if possible both of you should attend and appear for the hearing in the Court in lieu of the notice served on you.
